En clase: -Quiz on vocab: commenting on airplane travel -Begin presentations of Viaje discursos - finish tomorrow Tarea: Actividades 5 and 6 on page 37 martes 11/3 (2) En clase: -Repaso Rápido - changing present tense sentences to the past tense -Finished presentations (Becca and Nick still need to go) -Go over Actividades 5-6 -Refrán: vocales - practice with pronunciation: murciélago (bat) mur-ci-é-la-go -vowels always make the same sounds -children's rhyme (memorize and recite with excellent pronunciation for extra credit) Tin, marín de dos Pingüés cúcara, mácara títere, fue. -Practice reading actividad 6 out loud with a partner, help each other with pronunciation. -Actividad 7 en parejas -Actividad 8 listening activity -Practice with -car, -gar, -zar verbs in the preterite (spell change!!) -Actividad 9 individually then compare with a partner -Actividad 10 ask 5 students if they did each of these things and write down which they did using the verb in the preterite (ask you form, answer I form, record he/she form) Tarea: Write a short story in the preterite with at least 10 sentences miércoles 11/4 En clase: -Becca's presentation -Actividad 10 as a class -Actividad 11 in parejas -Notes on irregular preterites: ir, ser, hacer, dar, ver -Actividad 13 en parejas/as a class Tarea: FOR MONDAY. Actividad 12 (pg 41); Actividad 14, 15 (pg 42) (for act 15 write out the question and then one answer sí or no...); Irregular Preterites Packet: notes page, Hoy no, pero ayer sí activity, ¿Qué fueron? activity (use the vocab from the notes page to help you). jueves 11/5 No class viernes 11/6 No school.
