En clase: -5 minutes to study -Quiz on -er/-ir preterites -pages 26-27 Unit 1 overview -pages 28-29 1.1 Overview and family vocab handouts -Start going over vocab on page 30 as a class Tarea: finish reading page 31 (use En resumen pg 49 to help you), and answer preguntas personales. martes 10/27 (2) En clase: -make los pasaportes, la identificación, y los boletos -Acting out vocabulario: ir de viaje: al llegar al aeropuerto: 1. vas al mostrador inicial (initial counter) para recibir tu boleto y registrar las maletas, 2. pasas por la seguridad, 3. vas a la aduana para que puede revisar tu pasaporte, y 4. vas al mostrador para que el agente puede revisar tu identificación y darte una pase de abordar. Cuando abordas el avión, escoges un asiento de ventanilla o un asiento de pasillo. El piloto hace su annuncio, y la auxiliar de vuelo dice la información de seguridad. Entonces es la salida. Mientras (while) en el aire, la auxiliar de vuelo les da a los pasajeros la comida y alguna bebida. Los pasajeros charlan (hablan) sobre adónde vas y por qué vas allá, comen la comida y beben la bebida, y duermen. ¡Finalmente está la llegada! Use Actividad 3 to help you write about an imaginary trip that you took. Write at least 10 sentences in the preterite about the process of getting ready to take the trip, navigating through the airport, and the flight itself. Include where you went and why you wanted to go there. Tomorrow we will peer edit them and then you will use the script to present your story to the class on Friday. miércoles 10/28 En clase: -Check Actividad 3 and rough draft -Go over Actividad 3 -Practice editing with my example, find all my mistakes and give suggestions -Edit each others papers. If you didn't write it begin writing Tarea: finish editing your peer's paper and return it to them write your second draft (2 copies: one for me, one for you) and practice it for Friday! You will turn in the rough draft and editing sheet, and a copy of your final draft for me viernes 10/30 En clase: -Love Inc. service trip - presentations will be on Monday, use the weekend to practice! -Hand back quizzes -Extra practice with translating sentences in the preterite -Work on quiz corrections, EP test corrections, studying vocab for "Comment on airplane travel" section. tarea: practice discursos (speeches) for Monday. Verbs can mean something else if you leave an accent off of a preterite verb. él = he el = the tú = you tu = your ¿Cómo? = How? como = like/as está = you are (form) esta = this estás = you are (fam) estas = these ¿Cómo estás? How are you? Como estas = like these -Practice with the preterite: comprar Tarea: Pick three -ar verbs you know and make conjugations charts for each of these verbs in the preterite tense. You may not choose limpiar and comprar as we used them in class. martes 10/13 (2) En clase: -1st, 2nd and 3rd persons, singular and plural "puzzle" -Practice writing sentences with the regular verbs from the homework. -Listening Actividad: ¿Por qué no me invitaste?
